Birthday Girl!!!!

Ah, one year ago today our little gal was born. She has brought us such unimaginable joy. She makes life so different. I look forward to seeing her every morning and every day when I come home from work. I miss her when I leave her. I think about her pretty much all the time. She is our joy and pride. I hope she grows up to be a beautiful, smart and quirky woman! Happy Birthday Maya! We love you!

We have so much planned for numero uno. Today, her actual birthday, we're going to the mall to pick out a charm necklace, and every year on her birthday we'll pick out another charm. We may get a teddy bear from the Build-a-Bear place and peek in Old Navy to see if they have any leggings. Tonight we'll have a special little cake. Tomorrow, all the neighbors are coming over to have birthday cake. Saturday, Maya's little friends are coming for cake. AND Sunday, all Maya's family are coming for lunch, AND cake! So many cakes!!! We probably won't want to eat cake for another year! :)

Gramma and Grampa got Maya a turkey for her birthday.
Of all the animals in the Build-a-Bear store, she picks the turkey.
I got the stroller because no self-respecting little turkey can go without a stroller.
